Gentle Yoga Flow with Live Bamboo Flute & Guided Meditation – 8 am to 9 am
Guided by Ana-Bianca, a Certified Hatha & Vinyasa Flow instructor who practices and volunteers with Sahaja Yoga Meditation Network. She will be accompanied by a classically trained Indian bamboo flute musician. They will team up for this event and create a unique and holistic wellness experience, welcoming and inclusive to everyone and, as always, free of cost for all participants.
FAQ:
Q: Is this event for everyone (if I cannot do physical yoga or I don’t meditate/haven’t done yoga before/I am completely new etc.)
A: Yes! Bring a chair or sit on a mat. You can choose to follow only the guided meditation while you are sitting relaxed in a comfortably position that you can change anytime. The positive affirmations used in the guided meditation will be intertwined with the gentle yoga flow instructions. Following through will improve your overall mood, state of mind and relax your body.If you trust your body, you can still try the gentle yoga flow.
Note: Of course you can try the yoga flow even if you haven’t tried it before! See what you feel. You can continue doing it or just do the meditation. Listen to your body and see what works for you!
Q: What should I bring?
A: – Yoga Mat or Chair
– Bring your own post-session drink (tea/water etc.) for the Moment of CollectiviTEA session
Q: What else is required?
A: Maintain silence during the session, turn off your phones
Q: Can I bring people with me?
A: Yes! Feel free to share this event with everyone. We encourage you to share it with different community groups (schools, your workplace etc.). This is a city-wide event to celebrate UN’s International Yoga Day. Let’s show our support for wellness and bring Burlington Together!
